王钦敏主任简介/Introduction to Director Wang Qinmin

英国帝国理工学院博士、国际欧亚科学院院士、福州大学特聘教授、博士生导师，现为福建省空间信息工程研究中心主任、空间数据挖掘与信息共享教育部重点实验室主任、“数字福建” 专家委员会主任以及全国政协常委、副秘书长、科技部国家遥感中心专家委员会委员、日本国卫星影像与测绘株式会社国际高级顾问、中国遥感应用协会专家委员会副主任。1990-1999年先后组织或参与7项国际合作项目，研究经费达1100万美元。1999年回国以来，倡导、规划和组织了福建省信息化工程 “数字福建”工程的实施。近年来先后主持多个国家、省部重点科技项目，研究经费达7000万元。获国家科技进步二等奖1项、福建省科技进步一等奖2项、二等奖2项 。

Professor Wang Qinmin received his PhD from Imperial College London and had an experience with  education and work abroad for 15 years. Now he is an Academician of International Eurasian Academy Of Sciences, Distinguished Professor in Fuzhou University, Director of Spatial Information Research Center of Fujian and Key lab of Spatial Data Mining and Information sharing of Ministry of Education, and Chief scientist of “Digital Fujian” program in Fujian and the vice secretary general of CCPPCC. He also is a member of committee of National Remote Sensing Center of China and International senior consultant of Image & Surveying corporation of Japan, Deputy Director of expert committee of China Association of Remote Sensing Application . He undertook 7 international cooperation projects  with funds of 11  millions USD as   an investigator or coordinator during 1990-1999. I sponsored and implemented the “Digital Fujian” long-term program of Fujian province during past few years, and investigated several national & provincial and international scientific and technological projects with funds of 70 millions CY. He achieved 1 National Scientific and Technological Progress Award (the Second Prize) and 3 Provincial scientific and Tech Progress Award (1for  First Prize and 2 for Second Prizes).
